who is brangan medical?

Brangan Medical is husband and wife team, Tony and Sandy Brangan. With our combined talents we consult to medical businesses across Australia.

Our initial success as Brangan Medical can be gauged by the following: a struggling medical practice that had been operating for four years with weaknesses in direction, vision, plan or end-game and was struggling to turn break-even billings. With Brangan Medical's involvement, this practice turned around their billings to greater than a 4.5 multiple in just 18 months - the new billings were within the range of top 10% in General Practice. Industry observers remarked just how astonishing the growth was. The other astounding result was that of the 15 Doctors that the practice grew to (from just 3) in that time, six had literally walked in specifically seeking to work from this practice, because of the culture it had become known for.

Pharmacist, Tony, has owned and/or managed medical practices and pharmacies throughout Australia for over forty years. His extensive knowledge of the Healthcare industry, extensive contacts, and the intricacies of business development in that field is well known amongst his peers. He is also a former infantry officer in the ADF and that experience is key to why our management strategy is so successful.

Sandy has owned, managed or worked for thirty-six years in customer service in Retail, Hospitality, Banking, and Health sectors (more than half of those years were self employed). She is the "creative" one with a focus on social media (marketing), image and branding. Her passion is looking after people.

brangan medical philosophies

Brangan Medical employs a number of fundamental philosophies:

▪️Just because something has been set in motion it will always be regarded as a WIP (work in progress). By that we mean if someone identifies a valid need to deviate from the course of action then that person is always encouraged to speak up. WIP can always be done a better way and no-one should be discouraged from making suggestions.

▪️There is no such thing as a stupid question.

▪️We will always seek to catch staff doing things right and we will let them know. 

▪️There should never be a culture of blame, it absolutely ruins creative thinking.

▪️Best of all: we will find the strengths in people and work WITH them on those strengths, because if someone is directed to do something that they are good at then good things will and do happen. To that end we can offer to do personality profiling of your team(s) and that is extremely valuable when it comes to putting your best resource - your people - into roles that they will excel in.

People Before Business: People BEFORE business is a deliberate statement which embodies what Brangan Medical is all about. Your People are your Business. When you put people first, by way of empowering and enabling your employees to be the best they can be it gives you a strong foundation on which to build relationships with your Doctors and your Patients.
